We did the airport transfer and Monkey Home and City Tour. We had Elvis for both. Elvis is a great driver and incredibly knowledgeable. We were a family of 8, Elvis had us loaded and on our way within minutes, arriving at least 45 minutes before the rest of the bus!
Our excursion started at 8am, Elvis was punctual and raring to go! He told us about Puerto Plata today. We were among the 1st of the day at Monkey Home( they have 4 small groups a day). They had us sanitize our feet before going into their home. They then let us know a bit about the monkeys and how we were to interact with them. The monkeys are small and very gentle. They are fed fruit, vegetable and what they catch in their safe home.
We then went on our city tour, the whole drive Elvis shared the history of Puerto Plata, stopping at monuments for photos.
We parked and walked the city center. 1st stop was the City Square, we had a band play for us. Elvis and baby danced, stealing our hearts.
As we walked Elvis continued to share everything he knows. There were great photo ops and so much to see. We stopped at a Larimar and Amber shop, a cigar factory a very cool shoe store where they handmake espidrils and paint them for you. A great little souviner shop. The Umbrelka St where we stopped for coffee and a quick lesson in how it gets there. The Pink St and the incredible history behind it. On our way back to thecresort Elvis took us to the top of the hill for an amazing view of the city and a stop for photos at Fort San Fillipe. Elvis shows how much her cares for the city and shares his enthusiasm with you. He had us laughing and saying " beautiful, beautiful, beautiful " Elvis started as a guide in the morning and ended the day as family.

A tailor-made tour of Elbia Tours

We did a fantastic, tailor-made tour. Picked up from our cruise ship, first a trip down memory lane in Cabarete and Sosua. After a nice, local, lunch we saw the highlights of Puerto Plata. Everything under the cozy direction of Elvis and Bianca. We had a great day, absolutely recommended!

We went with 2 other families/couples and we had the most amazing time. The city tour included tons of things that made our tour memorable. We couldn’t have asked for better service. The traditional Dominican lunch was delicious. Elvis and Bianca were professional and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend elbia tours for all your needs. And we hope to be back to use them again in the future!! Elvis took tons of photos to which he sent us that night. Sweet memories.

Arrived in Puerto plata in March to a private transportation with Elbia Toursrd. Great service from pick up to drop off. This was the 2nd time myself and Husband have been to Puerto Plata but this time we brought a group of 8 friends with us. As a group of 10 we used Elvis for all of Tours. We did
Highlights Puerto Plata City & Mountain Isabel de Torres, Damajagua Waterfalls & Monkey Home & Blue Lagoons Tour, Visiting Playa Caleton, Playa Grande Cascada de Saltadero Blue Lagoons. 
And a few of our group did the 1/2 day buggy tour.

Elvis is VERY knowledgeable with the area and is excited to share and show everyone to us. He even arranged for us to go to the firehouse in Puerto plata for one of our guys who is a firefighter 🚒 here I Saskatchewan.

If you want a tour guide who will put your group first and consider you a part of his Family this is the tour company that you need to use.

Beautiful Tour with Elvis

Our family visited Puerto Plata in February 2025. After a lot of research we chose Elbia Toursrd for our excursions. We did 3 different excursions (Monkey Home, City tour and Loma Isabel de Torres) along with the airport transfer. All pick ups and transfers were on time. We had Elvis for our BEAUTIFUL tours. He was able to show us everything we wanted to see, and was able to amazingly avoid the crowds. You can tell Elvis is very proud of his BEAUTIFUL city.

What a great experience with Elvis and Bianca. We went to two wonderful beaches, ate a great lunch, watched divers at a waterfall and swam at cave lake all in one day. At the end of the day they took us to Puerto Plata to buy souvenirs (an added bonus). Their prices were very fair and they kept our group of six very safe. We are their Utah friends for life.

Just returned from Puerto Plata March 10th, We have been using Elbia Tours for many years now. Not once have we ever had a problem. We had Elvis shuttle 4 of us from airport where he was waiting for us with open arms, cold beer and a brand new large van! Use their shuttle service you won't be disappointed. Also went on a private city tour with Elvis, what an amazing adventure! The city is BEAUTIFUL as you will hear Elvis say many times! He is an amazing tour guide who is very knowledgeable and well known everywhere he goes! The tour also included drive up mountain, where we were able to take amazing pictures from the top. On Saturday we booked a Catamaran cruise through Elbia Tours which took us to Sosua, where you can snorkel and had lunch on the boat and then back. Elvis and Bianca have many tours to chose from and are very reasonable .Book all your tours through them you won't be disappointed!

We had an incredible experience with Elbia Tours during our Damajagua Waterfalls and Monkey Home Squirrel Monkey excursion! From the start, the booking process was seamless, and Bianca made sure we had all the details for the trip.

The Damajagua Waterfalls adventure was truly unforgettable. The hike to the falls was scenic (though tiring! Haha), and the guide Aris was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the group of 4 safe throughout the climb and the exhilarating waterfall jumps. The cold water was a refreshing experience after the warm trek, and the natural beauty of the area left us in awe.

The second part of our tour, Monkey Home, was absolutely adorable! Getting up close with the squirrel monkeys was a highlight. The monkeys were playful, friendly, and the interaction felt safe and natural, thanks to Henri’s careful handling of the animals. We were joined by Bianca, the operator of Elbia Tours.

Overall, Elbia Tours provided a top-notch experience with well-organized logistics and professional, engaging guides. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area—whether you’re seeking adventure or just want to connect with nature! Elvis who served as our overall guide was so energetic! You will learn a lot from him!

vrm a beautiful paradise island experience with a french guide louis the photographer and the driver a lot of explanation about the local plantations and villages nearby a nice fast boat tour where we bring you from a natural pool and then we bring you to a fabulous sand islands and a nice game of snorkeling bcp beautiful Caribbean fish we provide you with rum and fruit then a good meal on the playa bonita on the return we stop in a place where we make cigars very nice experiences.
For our 2nd tour we took a private tour with Elvis and Bianca very nice domino foundation Elvis a whole guide who will tell you about the Dominican Republic as never it is impressive a tour in English because it is learning French it is already very good we will take you to 2 beautiful public beach of the Rd and has a huge waterfall local people will make a jump to the top for some very impressive room you will lose a lunch on the time of the traditional dinner and then we bring you in a blue lagoon with clear water you will bathe very nice place all the family to love from 9 years to 45 without hesitation I recommend Elvis and elvis tours hesitate it is full vrm for the price I will go back it is clear

We have used Elbia Tours - Elvis and Bianca - for 3 years now for our private transport to and from the airport in Puerto Plata to our resort, as well as any excursions we have done. Always great service and they really do take care of us! We have even arranged a group of 16 to go to a local restaurant to eat and spend a couple of hours down in the city. Their drivers are great and friendly and always get us back safely. Elvis has been our tourguide twice himself and we have even had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Bianca as well! Great hosts and they can really handle it all!

Monkeys and Puerto Plata

We traveled to Dominican in April 2024. Elvis was amazing! He met with us the night we arrived at the resort so he could meet us. He arrived on time the day we went to the monkeys. We decided to book the afternoon with him as well. He went above and beyond for us. He treated us like family. We felt like family the entire time. We had such a great time.
